Located on a 48 acre site adjacent to the East Sacramento and McKinley Park neighborhoods and connected to Midtown and the future Sutter’s Landing Park, this smart growth, infill community of 397 homes combines leading-edge sustainability features and homes with modern amenities.
The design for McKinley Village embraces the SACOG Blueprint goals and includes:
- tree lined, pedestrian friendly streets;
- intimate urban parks and 15 common greens;
- a village green with a community clubhouse, pool and formal gardens;
- homes with front porches and entryways facing the streets and common areas and with garages on alleys;
- a mixed use residential and commercial building adjacent to the village green; and
- a church and community hall fronting on the westerly neighborhood park.
